5.3 The Identification Hierarchy

Gold’s impossibility theorem says that \(\mathbf{Ex}\)-identification is limited. Two natural responses: strengthen the success criterion (demand faster convergence) or weaken it (demand less of the final hypothesis). Both directions are fruitful.
